All passengers on an IndiGo flight from Varanasi to the nation’s capital safely exited as the plane touched down at the Delhi airport on Saturday, despite receiving a bomb threat.
In a statement, the airline said flight 6E 2232, operating from Varanasi to Delhi, had received a bomb threat.
The statement read, “The crew followed all standard operating procedures and the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay as per security agency guidelines upon landing in Delhi.”
The airline reports that every passenger has safely disembarked, and the aircraft is presently being inspected.
