Noida: A Telecom company has dissected the newly built road near the U-turn of Noida Sector-51. The Telecom company is laying optical fibre. Residents have accused this telecom company of closing the U-turn without any notice. No Noida Authority official was present on the spot.
The practice of breaking, digging and ruining new roads has become common in Noida. Sometimes telecom companies break and dig the newly built road, and sometimes the water sewer or electricity department of the authority itself. The latest case is cutting the road near the U-turn near Noida Sector-51.
Sanjeev Kumar Sector-51 RWA General Secretary says, “Some telecom company is cutting the newly built road to lay optical fiber. Due to cutting the road, the U-turn has been closed. No board or information about the closure of the U-turn has been put up anywhere. Daily commuters are facing a lot of trouble.”
He further says, ” Who permits to dig the newly built road? Does the authority giving permission or nobody knows the actual situation? Why is the authority wasting public money like this?”
