Ghaziabad: All schools ordered to shut due to heat

Ghaziabad: Due to the high temperatures that are now in place, the district administration of Ghaziabad on Sunday ordered the closure of all schools. As a result, lessons for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade will be held from May 20 to May 25.

On Sunday, a formal directive on the closure of schools was also issued and distributed to various departments and educational institutions.

The directive, according to department of basic education officials, is applicable to all schools.

“As of May 18, the government schools are already closed for the summer. There are open private schools available. As a result, all schools offering pre-primary through class eight courses will cease operations until May 25. This is carried out following a sharp increase in temperature. After assessing the summertime conditions and temperature, OP Yadav, the basic education officer, will make another judgment.

According to officials, a written order was also issued by the department on Sunday and distributed to several departments and institutions.
