Noida News: The commercial plot of Sector 32, Noida has been converted into a dumping yard by cutting trees by the Noida Authority Horticulture Department and by the Health Department by dumping mixed household waste. On March 25, 2024, it took the fire department 3 days to extinguish the fire that broke out in the same plot and the entire city was transformed into a gas chamber.
On May 15th,2024 Sanjiv Kumar, DDRWA, Senior Vice President, visited this commercial plot of Sector 32 and found that the Noida Authority Horticulture Department has again started dumping the waste of tree cuttings in this commercial plot. Noida Authority Health Department is helping in turning this plot into a dump yard by dumping mixed waste. Every year a fire occurs in this commercial plot and the city residents are troubled.
Sanjiv Kumar, Senior Vice President, DDRWA Sector 51 has requested the authorities that a dump yard should not be built in the middle of Noida city. He says, “This plot is a commercial plot and not a dumping yard, hence it is the responsibility of Noida Authority to stop dumping of garbage in this plot. But Noida Authority itself is dumping garbage in this plot and when this plot is filled, this garbage is set on fire. Due to this, the city residents are extremely troubled.”
He further requested the authorities to get this investigated and immediate action taken against the officer who is doing this and dumping of garbage on the commercial plot of Sector 32 should be stopped immediately.
