WB SET Last Date 2023: The West Bengal College Service Commission has extended the last date of registration for the West Bengal State Eligibility Test, WB SET 2023 till September 03. Candidates can register themselves for SET 2023 from the official website of the Commission at wbcsconline.in.
The online application process for WB SET 2023 was started on August 01, 2023. As per the original schedule, the last date to register for the State Eligibility Test was August 31, which has been extended till September 03, 2023. “The date for ONLINE APPLICATION of 25th SET has been extended till 3rd September 2023 at 12:00 midnight,” reads official notice. The application correction window for the registered candidates will be open from September 09 to 11. The WB SET 2023 will be conducted on Sunday, December 17, 2023. The admit card will be issued in the last week of November.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess at least 55% marks in a Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC recognized University/ Institute. Those who are pursuing a Master’s degree or have appeared for the qualifying examination and whose result is still awaited are also eligible.

How to register for West Bengal SET 2023?
Step 1. Visit the official website at wbcsconline.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “Apply for STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST”
Step 3. A new page will open, register yourself and fill out the application form
Step 4. Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference
Exam Pattern
The WB TET 2023 will consist of two papers:
Paper-I: It will consist of 50 objective-type compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching, research aptitude of the candidate.
Paper-II: It will consist of 100 objective-type compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. All the questions of Paper – II will be compulsory.
