Noida : What if scrap metal and discarded plastic could transform into dinosaurs, birds, and entire forests? That’s exactly what Noida is about to unveil a one-of-its-kind eco park built from waste, spread across 18.3 acres at the Delhi-Noida-Faridabad border along the Yamuna. Inspired by Delhi’s Waste-to-Wonder and Bharat Darshan parks, this project is being hailed as India’s first 4D park made entirely out of waste materials. The Noida Authority has spent nearly ₹15 crore to bring the idea to life, and the result is nothing short of fascinating.

A world built from waste

Imagine walking past a roaring dinosaur sculpted from old iron rods or spotting an eagle soaring overhead, except it’s crafted from discarded plastic. The park houses around 800 sculptures of animals, birds, and dinosaurs, all made from over 500 tonnes of scrap. And this is just the beginning. According to Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M, the park is ready and will soon be inaugurated by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Three zones, Countless experiences

The park has been divided into three vibrant zones, each with its own charm:

The Entry Zone (4 acres): Parking for 300 vehicles, a 1,000-seat amphitheatre, a buzzing food court, and exhibition spaces.

The Wilderness Zone (8.8 acres): A walk through recreated habitats from tropical rainforests and deserts to wetlands and grasslands.

The Habitat Zone (5.5 acres): Extending towards Okhla Bird Sanctuary, this area showcases islands, oceans, polar regions, and temperate forests.

For families, there are children’s play areas, picnic lawns, souvenir shops, outdoor seating and even two food courts. Entry is designed to be convenient, with gates near Dalit Prerna Sthal and the Sector 94 Metro station.

Adventure awaits in Phase 2

The first phase is about sculptures and green spaces. The second will take things to the next level with adventure activities like zip-lining, rope climbing, bungee jumping, trampolines, rock climbing, and zip cycling. Perhaps the most exciting feature? A jungle night safari, the first of its kind in NCR, where visitors can tour the habitats on battery-operated e-carts under the moonlight.

Affordable and Sustainable

With an entry ticket of just ₹100, the park aims to be accessible to all. The private agency behind its construction will manage day-to-day operations, collect ticket revenue, and share profits with the Noida Authority.

Why it matters

Beyond entertainment, the park is a powerful statement. It’s proof that waste can be turned into wonder ,offering a green, creative alternative to urban development. For Noida residents and NCR visitors, it promises a refreshing mix of leisure, learning, and sustainability.

So, the next time you’re planning a family outing or a weekend escape, this waste-to-wonderland might just be your go-to destination.
