Noida: The abnormal sanitation situation around Vedvan Park located in Sector 78 has raised concerns among the residents. Due to this, the members of the 7x Welfare Team have written a letter to Noida Authority CEO Dr Lokesh M. In this letter, the heaps of garbage near Vedvan Park have been informed.

‘No attention to cleanliness’
Residents allege that the garbage dump yard built by the Health Department of Noida Authority right in front of Vedvan Park is creating serious sanitation problems. During morning walks, foul smell spreads in the entire area, which is affecting about 40 thousand residents. This problem has been persistent for the last few years. Despite spending crores of rupees and giving a cleaning contract to a private company, cleaning is not being done near Vedvan Park.
Ved Van is no vendor zone, still, they are in abundance
Residents allege that despite Vedavan Park being declared a no-vendors zone, illegal street vendors of street food the entire area. This situation worsens especially during the evening and morning hours. Apart from this, the presence of stray animals on the streets also remains a big problem.
Letter to the CEO demanding quick action
The letter alleges that these conditions are happening due to the working style of the WC-6 team, which is promoting unethical practices and encouraging encroachment in the areas around Vedavan Park. The 7x Welfare Team has requested the Noida Authority CEO to make arrangements to keep the entire Vedavan Park area clean during the rainy season.
