Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the brand-new Belagavi–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express on August 10, marking a big milestone in South India’s railway upgrades.
The inaugural special service (Train No. 06575) will leave KSR Bengaluru at 11:15 am and reach Belagavi the next morning at 8:00 am, as per Deccan Herald.
When Will the Regular Service Start?
Regular services will begin from August 11, running daily under train numbers 26751/26752.
- Train 26751: Leaves Belagavi at 5:20 am, arrives in KSR Bengaluru at 1:50 pm
- Train 26752: Leaves KSR Bengaluru at 2:20 pm, reaches Belagavi at 10:40 pm

This high-speed service will stop at key locations:
Yeshwantpur, Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi, and Dharwad, making it a convenient choice for many travellers across Karnataka.
How Much Are the Tickets?
Here’s the fare breakdown including catering charges:
Belagavi to Bengaluru:
- Chair Car – Rs 1,575
- Executive Class – Rs 2,905
Bengaluru to Belagavi:
- Chair Car – Rs 1,630
- Executive Class – Rs 2,955
Why It Matters?
With this new Vande Bharat route, travelling between North Karnataka and Bengaluru becomes faster, more comfortable, and highly efficient. This addition to the semi-high-speed rail network is expected to boost tourism, business, and regional connectivity across the state.
