Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the brand-new Belagavi–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express on August 10, marking a big milestone in South India’s railway upgrades.

The inaugural special service (Train No. 06575) will leave KSR Bengaluru at 11:15 am and reach Belagavi the next morning at 8:00 am, as per Deccan Herald.

When Will the Regular Service Start?

Regular services will begin from August 11, running daily under train numbers 26751/26752.

  • Train 26751: Leaves Belagavi at 5:20 am, arrives in KSR Bengaluru at 1:50 pm
  • Train 26752: Leaves KSR Bengaluru at 2:20 pm, reaches Belagavi at 10:40 pm

What Are the Stoppages?

This high-speed service will stop at key locations:

Yeshwantpur, Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi, and Dharwad, making it a convenient choice for many travellers across Karnataka.

How Much Are the Tickets?

Here’s the fare breakdown including catering charges:

Belagavi to Bengaluru:

  • Chair Car Rs 1,575
  • Executive Class Rs 2,905

Bengaluru to Belagavi:

  • Chair Car Rs 1,630
  • Executive Class Rs 2,955

Why It Matters?

With this new Vande Bharat route, travelling between North Karnataka and Bengaluru becomes faster, more comfortable, and highly efficient. This addition to the semi-high-speed rail network is expected to boost tourism, business, and regional connectivity across the state.
