Noida: While New Year celebrations across the city were largely marked by parties and festivities, members of the Uttar Pradesh Cultural Forum chose to welcome the New Year with compassion and social responsibility.
On New Year’s Day, forum members distributed fruits among children, promoting health and care for the younger generation. As night fell and temperatures dropped sharply, the members took to the streets to help the most vulnerable sections of society. Blankets were distributed to needy and homeless individuals sleeping on roadsides, providing them with much-needed relief from the biting cold.
During the night outreach, it was observed that many young volunteers were also actively engaged in blanket distribution across different areas. This sight was both encouraging and inspiring, reflecting a growing awareness among the youth. The younger generation is not only celebrating the New Year with enjoyment but is also showing a strong sense of responsibility toward society and the nation.
The initiative by the Uttar Pradesh Cultural Forum stands as a commendable example of humanity and social commitment. Beginning the New Year with such selfless acts sends a positive message and sets a meaningful precedent for others to follow.
