Noida : A symbolic Buddhi-Shuddhi Havan (purification ritual) planned by the residents of Antariksh Golf View-II, Sector 78, Noida, to protest against the builder’s alleged arbitrariness, apathy and corruption had to be abruptly postponed. All arrangements for the havan had been completed, and a large number of flat owners, both men and women, had gathered for the ceremony. However, just before its commencement, residents received the news that a resident from K Tower had passed away.

Upon hearing this, the priest present at the venue advised that the havan be postponed as per religious norms. The residents unanimously agreed and held a two-minute silence for the departed soul. The new date for the havan will be announced soon.

Protest continues from 1 November

Since 1 November 2025, residents have been staging a continuous sit-in protest in front of the builder’s office. They allege that Colorful Estate Pvt. Ltd., which started constructing the project in 2010, has failed to provide even the basic promised facilities, despite over 900 families living in the society since 2016.
