TSBIE TS Inter first year admission 2023: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) will conclude the application registration today for TS Inter first-year admissions for the academic year 2023-24.
For private junior colleges, the deadline for admissions into the first year of Intermediate for the academic year 2023-24 has been extended until October 9, 2023, with a late fee of Rs. 1,000. In contrast, admissions in all government and government sector colleges are accepted without a late fee. This extension serves as the last opportunity for admissions, as stated in an order issued by the Secretary, TSBIE, Hyderabad.
Principals have received instructions to promptly admit eligible candidates into the Intermediate first-year program before the closing date. This ensures that deserving students do not miss out on the opportunity to pursue higher education.
Parents and students are advised to seek admissions only in affiliated junior colleges. The list of these colleges is available on the official websites of TSBIE – acadtsbie.cgg.gov.in and tsbie.cgg.gov.in.
Admission reservations adhere to the existing rules, with various categories having designated percentages of reserved seats. These categories include Scheduled Castes (15%), Scheduled Tribes (10%), Backward Classes (29%), Physically Handicapped (3%), NCC, sports and extra-curricular activities (5%), Ex-service Men and defence personnel residing in the state (3%), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) (10%).
Furthermore, 33.33% or 1/3rd of the total seats are reserved for girls, categorized where separate colleges are not available.
To seek admission to intermediate courses in Private Aided, Unaided, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, BC Welfare, Model school/Junior colleges, and Government Junior Colleges in Telangana, students must submit their Aadhaar numbers.
Additionally, principals have received instructions to prioritize the safety of female students and to incorporate the mother’s name instead of the father’s name for Jogini children, as recorded in the qualifying examination.
Unaided junior colleges have been directed to make admissions only within the sanctioned sections and up to the ceiling strength of 88 students per section. Admissions in combinations dropped by the Board are prohibited, and any violation may result in penalties and disaffiliation of the college, pending action.
