The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has released a notification for the Tamil Literary Aptitude Test (TLAT) 2023 on its official website. The exam will be held on October 25, 2023.
A total of 1,500 students will be selected to take part in this examination, and the selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,500 for two years, courtesy of the School Education Department.
Aspiring students can download the application forms from the official website, www.dge.tn.gov.in, between September 5, 2023, and September 20, 2023. Completed applications, accompanied by an examination fee of Rs. 50, should be submitted to the Principal or Head of the concerned school. The deadline for application submission is September 20, 2023.
The TLLP will be conducted on October 15, 2023. The exam will be held in two parts: Part I and Part II. Part I will be a compulsory paper, while Part II will be an optional paper.
Part I will cover the following topics:
• Basic Tamil grammar
• Tamil literature
• Tamil language usage
Part II will cover the following topics:
• Current affairs
• Science
• Mathematics
The marks for the TLAT 2023 are:
• Part I: 100 marks
• Part II: 100 marks
The total marks for the TLAT 2023 are 200 marks.
