TIRUPATI: Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), along with EO AV Dharma Reddy, introduced the annual Brahmotsavams booklets at Tirumala temple. The TTD chairman shared that extensive arrangements are underway for the 9-day annual festival, commencing on September 18.
Following tradition, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will present pattu vastrams on behalf of the state government to Lord Venkateswara during the opening of the Brahmotsavams on September 18.
Due to the presence of the Adhika masam this year, Tirumala will host two Brahmotsavams. The Salakatla Brahmotsavams will occur from September 18 to 26, and the Navaratri Brahmotsavams will take place from November 15 to 23, according to Bhumana.
Simultaneously, six newly appointed members of the TTD board, nominated by the state government, were officially inducted during a ceremony at the hill temple on Wednesday.
