RSS leader Indresh Kumar attacked the ruling BJP for “arrogance” and the opposition INDIA alliance for being “anti-Ram” in sharp statements about the Lok Sabha election results on Thursday.
Speaking during the ‘Ramrath Ayodhya Yatra Darshan Poojan Samaroh’ in Kanota, near Jaipur, the RSS national executive member did not name the challengers but claimed that the poll results represented their views.
“The party that did the bhakti (of Lord Ram) but became arrogant was stopped at 241, but it was made the biggest party,” he remarked, in an apparent reference to Narendra Modi’s BJP, which won 240 Lok Sabha seats.
