Telangana Postal Circle releases commemorative special covers on Orient BlackSwan & Gul Mohar English Readers



Hyderabad: The Telangana Postal Circle was honored by releasing two special postal covers to commemorate 75 years of Orient BlackSwan Pvt ltd & 50 Years of Gul Mohar Graded English Readers.
On Friday, the chief postmaster general, of Telangana Circle K Prakash released these two special covers at a program held at Daksadan, in the presence of the chairperson of Orient BlackSwan, Dr Nandini Rao, director, J Krishnadev Rao, and Postmaster general, PVS Reddy and Postmaster General, Headquarters Region, T M Sreelatha.
The Orient BlackSwan Pvt. Ltd is one of India’s best-known publishing houses. J Rameshwar Rao bought the majority shareholding of the then Orient Longman which later became Orient BlackSwan, and became its chairman in 1968. He was also the titular Raja of Wanaparthy and now, his heirs are successfully running this Orient BlackSwan Pvt. Ltd, according to an official release issued by the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Hyderabad City Division, A Subramanyam, here.
With the release of two commemorative special covers, the Orient BlackSwan Pvt. Ltd is one of India’s best-known publishing houses, now receiving recognition from India Post.
