Noida: In Noida’s Ramlila Ground a swachhta abhiyaan was organised in which top notch dignitaries of Noida participated effectively. The CEO of Noida Authority Dr. Lokesh M appealed to the people of Noida to segregate their garbage into five categories and throw it. He also asked everyone to contribute their full efforts in keeping Noida clean and help Noida in bagging the top position in the category of cleanliness. After the plugging campaign in Sector-62 Ramlila ground, CEO Dr Lokesh M made the officials of all RWA organizations take a pledge of cleanliness and after this, a signature campaign was launched.
Making the slogan of Swachh Noida meaningful, in cohesion with the Public Health Department of Noida Authority, the team of DDRWA and various NGOs organized a ploughing campaign and cleanliness signature campaign at Ramlila Ground of Sector-62 to take the cleanliness of the city to a new level.
Dr Lokesh M, CEO says, “Garbage is being segregated into five categories in about 21 sectors of Noida. Citizens of all other sectors should follow this. Garbage from your house should be segregated into dry garbage, wet garbage, sanitary garbage, household hazardous garbage and e-waste and then dumped.”
During the campaign, hundreds of people collected garbage from Ramlila Ground filled it in sacks and sent it to MRF centres for scientific disposal. Due to the cleaning drive of this ground filled with garbage, the people of the city have become aware of cleanliness. During this, NP Singh, DDRWA President Thakur announced from the stage that the authority needs to organize such programs in different sectors of Noida every week so that people can be made aware of this symbolic cleanliness campaign.
On this occasion, NP Singh – DDRWA President, Rajiva Singh – NOFAA President, Pawan Singh – FONRWA Treasurer, Puneet Shukla – Evergreen RWA President along with hundreds of officers and members were present. Apart from this, Sanjay Khatri – ACEO of Noida Authority, RP Singh – General Manager (Water), SP Singh – Deputy General Manager of Public Health, Vijay Rawal – Deputy General Manager, RK Sharma -Senior Manager, Gaurav Bansal, the entire team of Guided Fortune committee, the entire team of ILRT and 50 Safari Mitras were also present.
