Greater Noida West: A new era of happiness and hope has begun for 26,000 home buyers stuck in the projects of Supertech Limited. These buyers, who have been waiting for their home for the last 15 years, are now relieved, as recently four major projects of Supertech have been officially handed over to NBCC (National Building Construction Corporation). Along with this, the remaining 12 projects will also be handed over to NBCC soon.
Forensic audit of Supertech Limited
Home buyers have also filed in the Supreme Court seeking a forensic audit of Supertech Limited. The application was prepared by Supreme Court advocate Sunil J Mathew and filed by Marich Praveer Sahay (AOR Supreme Court). Status of e-file case Gulshan Kumar vs Ram Kishore Arora, Suspended Director of Supertech Ltd. & Ors. The petition has been filed with e-filing number ECSCIN01036642025 dated 25-01-2025 – diary number 47152025 and Supertech Eco Village 3 Welfare Association e-filing number ECSCIN01036702025 dated 25-01-2025 – diary number 47212025.
NBCC Executive Director (Finance) Vijay VK Chaudhary said that NBCC is committed to providing homes to all Supertech home buyers. This is an important step as these home buyers have waited for their homes for 15 years.
Problems of buyers stuck in Supertech projects
Various projects of Supertech, which started in 2010, are still incomplete. Most of the home buyers in these projects have paid 95% or more of their amount to Supertech, yet they have not been able to get possession of their house. Many of these home buyers are not only paying EMIs but also spending money on rent. Along with this, they are also not able to take advantage of interest in income tax, because they have not got possession of the house. Even the buyers who have got the houses are victims of chaos and mismanagement in the incomplete society.
