Noida : Residents of LIG Flats, Udyog Vihar Sector-82, Noida, are living in fear due to the growing menace of stray dogs in their society. According to locals, 3–4 aggressive dogs have been attacking children and passersby over the past several days. This afternoon, two young children narrowly escaped a dog attack. Alert residents rushed to their rescue, preventing a possible tragedy. However, the children were so terrified that they could not even recall their names or home addresses.

Similar incidents have been reported in the past week:

Two days ago, a delivery boy was bitten by stray dogs.

One particularly aggressive dog was earlier captured but released back in the same area, after which it has been repeatedly attacking people.

During today’s incident, residents including Ramvilas, Mahendra Kumar, Vice President Ranjit Mishra, and the society’s security guards joined hands to save the children. The dogs even attempted to attack them, escalating the panic further.

RWA’s Urgent Appeal

RWA President Mayank Chauhan has appealed to the Noida Authority for immediate intervention.

Today, we were lucky that people were around to save the children. Next time, it could turn fatal. The situation has become unbearable now. Aggressive dogs must be removed from the society and shifted to shelter homes to ensure the safety of children, women, and senior citizens.”
