Greater Noida : The sacred festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated with immense devotion, cultural fervour and vibrant enthusiasm at Shri Radha Sky Garden Society, as residents came together to worship Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom and learning.

On February 23, the society witnessed the ceremonial installation of Goddess Saraswati, performed with traditional rituals and Vedic chants. Clad in shades of yellow symbolic of spring, prosperity and enlightenment, devotees gathered in large numbers, transforming the society premises into a spiritual and festive space. The air resonated with devotional hymns, conch shell sounds and chants of reverence, creating an atmosphere filled with positivity and faith.

The celebrations concluded on February 24 with the immersion of the idol in a deeply emotional and devotional environment. Residents bid farewell to the Goddess with folded hands, prayers and a sense of gratitude, marking the end of the two-day spiritual celebration.

Women residents played a particularly commendable role in the success of the event. From decorations and ritual arrangements to managing prasad distribution and overall coordination, their dedication and teamwork added grace and discipline to the entire celebration.

The event was successfully organised with the active efforts of Pankaj Ojha, Thakur Anil Singh, Vikas Singh, Mukesh Jha, Anant Jha, Anirudh Sharma, Lokesh Tripathi, Thakur Dhruv Kumar Singh, Manoj Singh, Abhay Bhardwaj, Rajshekhar, Aniket Prakash, Sunny, Satan Singh, Ashish and Dushyant Dixit, whose collective contribution ensured the smooth execution of the festivities.

Among the women members, Poonam Singh, Poonam Kumari Singh, Sangeeta Shekhar, Madhurima, Vibha Bhardwaj, Indu, Jyotsna Gupta, Chitra Singh, Renu Ojha, Meenakshi, Kiran, Pooja Verma, Archana Singh, Swati, Neetu and several others played an instrumental role in making the event memorable.

During the concluding ceremony, senior members of the society appreciated the organizing committee and emphasized the importance of such cultural and religious celebrations in strengthening social harmony and community bonding. They also expressed their commitment to organizing similar events on an even grander scale in the future.
