The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has invited applications for Young Professionals and Consultants.

The initial term of engagement of consultants will be for a period of 3 years, which might be extended by further period of two years as case-to-case basis.
Job roles
Consultants in the field of Financial Analysis, Forensic Audit at ICA/CWA/MBA Finance)
The consultants specializing in Financial Analysis and Forensic Audit, possessing qualifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CWA (Cost and Works Accountant), or an MBA in Finance, are responsible for several crucial tasks within their field. Their key roles include:
i) Analyzing the financial statements and available data in the MCA 21 database.
ii) Examining various financial data beyond the scope of the mentioned database.
iii) Critically evaluating corporate announcements issued by companies and creating comprehensive research reports.
iv) Assessing the financial reports of companies under investigation, conducting intricate financial analyses, and preparing detailed reports.
v) Supporting investigation teams in conducting forensic audits, reviewing board minutes, directors’ reports, and other pertinent documents.
vi) Utilizing spreadsheet and statistical software to analyze financial data and develop specialized reports for either specific companies or sectors, catering to the needs of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO).
vii) Undertaking any other responsibilities delegated to them within the domain.
Consultants in the field of Law
The consultants engaged in the field of Law would be required to perform following functions
i) To draft complaints, petitions, replies, rejoinders, affidavits and other
pleadings/legal documents to be filed before various Courts and other forums.
ii) To appear before different Courts and other forums throughout the country as per requirement.
iii) To render all assistance to the officers of SFIO in prosecution matters and also during investigation of the cases.
iv) To provide legal advice and opinion on points of law in various matters. v) To keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of law specialty Corporate Law.
vi) Any other work assigned to them.
The Young Professionals in the field of Law would provide basic support to Consultants and also assist Investigation teams in various miscellaneous tasks assigned to them from time to time.
