Sector 51: DDRWA requests to stop sewer water from flowing in the storm drains of the Sector, Drains waterlogged

Noida: It has been non-stop four days since the dirty and filthy sewer water is been flowing in the residential area of Sector 51. Even after the complaint, the sewer department is not taking any action.

Know the problem

The sewer department has been unable to stop this problem for the last two days because apparently there is no intention to work in this summer season. Residents are totally upset with the dirty smell because, in the evening after sunset, the residents go out of their houses for a walk and due to the smell and sewer water flowing everywhere, going out of the house seems hazardous to health in such condition.

Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary, DDRWA requests the higher officials of the authority to be kind to solve the problem immediately because there is a danger of dengue, malaria and any related epidemic spreading due to this dirty water. For the last four days, dirty water has been flowing continuously and the drains of the sector have been filled.

Residents demanding immediate action

NP Singh, President, DDRWA says, “If the problem is not solved soon, then the spread of an epidemic in the sector cannot be denied because even now the smell of dirty sewer water is filled inside the houses and the residents are in a miserable condition. Please take immediate action and resolve the issue”
