Sector 119 : NHRF opposes solid waste management plant, calls it dangerous for health and environment

Noida News: Noida High Rise Federation has opposed the proposed solid waste management plant in Sector 119. RK Sharma, Senior Manager, Health Department, Noida Authority along with his team met the NHRF team at Eldeco Aamantran. AOA members of nearby societies were also present in the meeting. These included Gaur Grandeur, Prateek Laurel, RG Residency and others.

Nikhil Singhal and Namita Choubey opposed the proposed plant in the sector and told the department that the residents of the sector are in panic and if this does not stop then they are planning a massive protest in the sector. Sharma assured that they would take up the matter internally and try to shift the plant.

Letter submitted to NHRF Chairman

Ashok Bindlesh, Secretary, RG Residency handed over a copy of the letter to the NHRF Chairman, along with Gaur Grandeur Chairman Mr. GS Pandey. Several other societies also submitted written requests to NHRF for action. These include Prateek Laurel, Gaur Grandeur, RG Residency, Amrapali Platinum and others.

‘Noida Authority will take this matter seriously’

NHRF Chairman Nikhil Singhal, NHRF Chairman says, “We oppose the proposed solid waste management plant in Sector 119. This plant can be dangerous for the health and environment of the residents of the sector. We hope that the Noida Authority will take this matter seriously and try to shift this plant.”
