Noida: The Hariyali Teej program was organized with pomp and gaiety in Sector-117 of Noida on 07th August 2024, where most of the women of the society participated in the Teej program. All the women danced to the songs of Sawan on the occasion of Hariyali Teej and pledged to keep their Indian culture and tradition alive.
The happiness of the festival was visible on the faces of the women
The festival of Teej was celebrated with lots of fun and enthusiasm in Sector 117. Ladies who arrived dressed up on Hariyali Teej sang Sawan songs and participated in the programs.”

Why is Hariyali Teej celebrated
The festival of Hariyali Teej is mainly celebrated as the union of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Let us tell you that Hariyali Teej is celebrated on the third day of Shravan Shukla Paksha to get good luck and desired groom. It is believed that on this day Mother Parvati got Lord Shiva through her rigorous penance.
With this reason and spirit Teej was celebrated with heartiest expression and joy.
