RUDRAPUR: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur held its annual HR Conclave ‘Samanvaya 2023’ on Saturday. The event focussed on ‘Human renaissance: Unleashing the power of automation’ and featured prominent experts and thought leaders in the industry.
The event commenced with chapter 1 of ‘Samanvaya 2023,’ where speakers Dr Pradyumna Pandey, manufacturing HR head at Hero MotoCorp, Debalina Roy, general manager – HR (Talent, capability, D&I) at Vodafone Idea Limited, Rajiv Naithani, chief people officer at Infogain, and Rahul Pakhale, senior HR manager at Jio Platforms Limited. Professor Mridul Maheshwari, a faculty member at IIM Kashipur, moderated the session.
Professor Utkarsh, chairperson of placement and corporate relations at IIM Kashipur, said, “The discussion revolved around the imminent automation and robotics revolution and the need for comprehensive retraining and reskilling programs. Machine learning and artificial intelligence are instrumental in this transformation, impacting HR processes and recruitment decisions. Speakers emphasised the judicious use of individual skills, the significance of upskilling, and the importance of addressing stagnation within organisations through AI-driven performance management.”
