Ruslaan box office collection Day 3: Aayush Sharma starrer off to a poor start with Rs 2 crore debut weekend |

Ruslaan, an action movie starring Aayush Sharma, debuted in theaters this past weekend, but sadly didn’t perform well at the box office.
The movie took in just Rs 55 lakh at the box office on Saturday and Sunday after making a modest opening weekend haul. According to preliminary estimates on sanilk.com, “Ruslaan,” which made an estimated Rs 75 lakh on day 2, concluded its first weekend with a collection of Rs 79 lakh, bringing its total earnings to an estimated Rs 2.09 crore.

The movie actioner, which had an occupancy rate of only 7.78%, was unable to surpass Rs 1 crore per day.
Ruslaan, which is directed by Karan Butani, features Aayush in the lead role and important roles from Jagapati Babu, Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, and Vidya Malvade.

The Ajay Devgn movie Maidaan, which became the weekend’s best earner with an estimated Rs 4.15 crore at the box office in its third weekend, reportedly competed with the movie.

The film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, placed third, while Ruslaan came in second.
Despite garnering positive reviews and Salman Khan’s support, the Aayush-starring film only made Rs 2 crore out of its Rs 20 crore budget. Fascinatingly, this is Aayush’s least successful movie to date. His movies “Antim” and “Love Yatri” had better opening weekend box office results. Antim created a statement by earning Rs 5 on day 1, whereas his debut film grossed Rs 2 crore on its first day of sales.
