Noida: RG Residency Society located in Sector-120, about 500 residents are wandering door to door for registration despite paying money. They were forced to put banners against the builders and public representatives outside the gate. In this sequence, the long-running dispute between the builder and the residents has now reached a new turn. In response to the protests by the residents regarding the pending cases for eight years and the demand for pending registration, the builder has now adopted the path of legal action.
Problems going on since 2016
RG Builder has sent a legal notice to all the members of the RG Residency Apartment Owners Association. Also, a demand has been made to issue summons against nine members of the association in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Gautam Buddha Nagar. These problems have been going on since 2016. Residents say that they will continue to protest against the builder until their pending demands are met with.
Basic facilities not provided: Residents
Residents say that their basic demands are yet to be met with. The registry of more than 500 flats is pending, the IBMS amount has not been returned, and many major facilities like full power backup, swimming pool, gym, STP, club office and indoor games are still incomplete. Residents allege that the builder has obtained approval to construct two new towers ‘Mirage’ without completing the project.
The purpose of the banner is to inform customers: Residents
A member of the association said that home buyers are fighting for their rights peacefully. Legal action by the builder cannot scare us. Residents of the society have protested against the new tower RG Mirage by putting up two big banners. The banner is 20 feet long and 6 feet wide. The banner was hung between the towers so that new customers could get information that many pending things had not been provided to the earlier buyers by the builder for the last seven years. Residents say they will continue to protest against the builder until their pending demands are met with.
