Noida: The annual executive meeting of Noida Citizen Forum (NCF), a leading civic body dedicated to the welfare, rights and development of Noida residents, was held today at the organisation’s office located at BS-32, Sector 70, Noida. The meeting was chaired by Dr Yogendra Narain (Retd. IAS), a former Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha, former Defence Secretary and former Chief Secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.




Review of annual activities and strategic planning for the coming year
During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the initiatives undertaken by NCF over the past year was presented. Members engaged in meaningful discussion on key civic issues affecting the city and explored potential solutions.
Dr Yogendra Narain, along with other senior members, put forth several crucial suggestions focused on:
- Strengthening civic engagement at the sector level
- Enhancing communication between citizens and authorities
- Making NCF interventions more structured and impactful
- Broadening citizen participation in public welfare issues
The executive reorganisation process begins
The forum formally initiated the process of reconstituting its executive committee. Several distinguished citizens from various Noida sectors and housing societies expressed their willingness to join the forum and actively contribute towards the city’s development. This reflects NCF’s growing recognition as a credible platform for civic dialogue and collective action.
Renewed commitment to a cleaner, safer and more progressive Noida
NCF reaffirmed its commitment to work collaboratively with:
- Public representatives
- Noida Authority
- The city’s residents
to make Noida cleaner, safer, technologically advanced, and more citizen-friendly in the coming year.
The organisation emphasised that meaningful urban development is possible only when policies and public participation move hand in hand.
