The train will leave from the Marwar station at 8:30 am and will arrive at Kamlighat through Goram Ghat Fulad at 3:30 pm.

In a move to give a big boost to tourism in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday flagged off the state’s first heritage train from Jodhpur. The train is known as the Heritage Special-Marwar Expres, which will start operating from Marwar Railway Station in Pali district and Rajsamand district’s Kamlighat Railway Station.

During the flag-off ceremony, the PM was accompanied by the top senior BJP leaders including Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari and Jodhpur DRM Geetika Pandey.

It has been reported that the train will work as a tourist attraction and will allow the public to have the beautiful sights of Rajasthan such as Goram Ghat considered a mini Kashmir, and the Bhil Beri waterfall fall.

As per the official details by the concerned authorities, the newly launched train will operate four days a week. As far as the ticket pricing is concerned,  the interested customers are likely to pay a sum of Rs 2,000 per person for the journey.

In case wondering about the routes, the train will leave from the Marwar station at 8:30 am and will arrive at Kamlighat through Goram Ghat Fulad at 3:30 pm.

Meanwhile, during the nine hours of long journey, the train will also take a break for almost 2.5 hours., allowing the passengers to relax at the station. Amid this, during the journey, the train will pass through a long and huge tunnel, making sure the passengers expirence a great expirence onboard.

Once the side journey is completed, the train will start the return journey at 5:30 PM.
