On December 1, 2019, Purbo Diganta Foundation (PDF) was founded by Subhashish Gupta, Pushpol Banerjee, Arindam Mukherjee, Probir Ghosh and other like minded people who advocate for social change, under the guiding principle of “Giving Back to Society.”

The name Purbo Diganta — meaning “beyond the blue horizon” — reflects the Foundation’s unwavering pursuit of positive change. Established by Subhashish Gupta and a team of dedicated professionals, PDF operates with the strong belief that collective efforts and unity are essential for creating lasting impact.
Empowering 22 economically disadvantaged students
The Foundation’s mission centres on empowering underprivileged children by providing them with access to quality education and cultural development. Its flagship project, the Purbo Uday School in Sector 8, Noida, currently supports 22 economically disadvantaged students, offering them an inclusive learning environment and a chance at a better future.
