Noida : A special meeting was organized at the Sector-19 Community Centre to address the growing concerns of cybercrime and other criminal activities. The event was jointly hosted by the DD RWA Federation and RWA Sector-19, with the participation of senior police officials, community leaders, and residents.

The program began with a street play (nukkad natak) that highlighted the importance of safeguarding one’s personal data, which has become the most valuable asset in today’s digital age.

During the session, police officers shared important precautions:
Always remain cautious while posting on social media.
Never share your PIN, password or OTP with anyone over the phone calls.
Avoid clicking on suspicious links, calls, or messages.
Officials stressed that in case of online fraud or financial scams, victims must immediately contact the Cyber Crime Helpline Number – 1930 or file a complaint at [www.cybercrime.gov.in](https://www.cybercrime.gov.in). Prompt action can significantly increase the chances of recovering lost money.
Awareness is the strongest shield
Police authorities reiterated that alertness and awareness are the most effective ways to prevent cyber fraud. They encouraged citizens to actively participate in awareness campaigns and police-led meetings to stay updated about evolving cyber threats.

The meeting was attended by DD RWA Federation President N.P. Singh, Senior Vice President, Sanjeev Kumar, Vice President, Anil Khanna, Executive Member, P.K. Singh, RWA Sector-19 President, Aarti Gupta and General Secretary Laxmi Narayan, along with their teams. Prominent figures such as MSME President Surendra Nahta, Noida Lokmanch President Mahesh Saxena, Pradeep Bohra, FONRWA President Yogendra Sharma and Vijay Bhati also participated in the meeting. From the police department, ACP P.K. Singh, SHO Sector-20, D.P. Shukla and the entire Cyber Crime Unit were present.
