Ghaziabad: A case of cockroaches found in food has come to light at Pind Balochi restaurant located at Mahagun Mall in Vaishali, Sector 3 in Ghaziabad. The victim’s doctor had reached the restaurant to celebrate his child’s birthday. They were shocked to see a cockroach in the food. The victim alleges that when he protested, the staff misbehaved with him. The doctor has complained about this matter to the police and the food safety department.
The party was for my son’s birthday
Dr Mahesh Chaudhary, Victim and a resident of Vaishali says, “It was my child Riyansh’s birthday and I am posted in a private hospital. We invited 15 people for the celebration. Everyone ordered food at the restaurant located on the third floor of the mall at 8 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024. When food was served, a cockroach was found in it. We complained about this to an employee of the restaurant and they did not give any answer in this regard. After paying the bill, I went to the manager to show the cockroach.”
Manager misbehaved
It is alleged that the manager took the cockroach from him and hid it. Whereas he had already taken a photo of the cockroach. The manager was drunk. Instead of accepting his mistake, the manager started quarrelling with him. He called other people there misbehaved with them and pushed them.
Allegations were declared false
Ganesh Dutt Joshi, Restaurant manager, Pind Baluchi says, “The team of Food Safety Department had come. He has informed the team about the entire incident. He had brought the cockroach to them by placing it on a paper. They had slapped him. He was drunk. Whereas he was admitting his mistake with folded hands. Everything has been captured in the CCTV camera.”
Police statement
In this regard, Kaushambi police station says that no complaint has been made in this matter. If a complaint is received, an investigation will be conducted.
