Greater Noida: A major mishap was dissuaded in the society of Greater Noida. The plaster of the ceiling fell in Kendriya Vihar Society located in Sector PI-2, Greater Noida. Due to this, the people of the society are terrified. Residents have raised questions to the builder regarding the quality of construction work in the project.
1000 families living in society
It is worth noting that about 1000 families live in 1794 flats of the society. On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the ceiling plaster fell on the balcony of flat number 502 in Tower C-2 of the society. It was fortunate that no one was present on the balcony at the time of the mishap. According to the information received, a piece of plaster fell from the ceiling of the balcony of the flat at around four in the morning. After the plaster fell, the iron rods became visible.
The builder is playing with the lives of people
The people of the society say, “After complaining to the management, the defect has been hidden by applying putty in the flat. The plaster falls on a slight hit on the wall.“
AOA member of Kendriya Vihar Welfare Association says, “The builder is playing with the lives of the people. People got the OC only two years ago. Since then, incidents of plaster falling have started coming to light. The construction quality of the builder’s project should be checked.”
