Gautam Buddh Nagar : Phase-1 Police successfully traced and reunited a 14-year-old visually impaired boy with his family. The boy had been missing for nearly two years. Under the guidance of Police Commissioner, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Mrs. Laxmi Singh, and supervision of DCP Noida, Mr. Yamuna Prasad, and ADCP Noida, Mr. Sumit Kumar Shukla, the Phase-1 Police had been making continuous efforts to locate the boy in connection with FIR No. 406/23, under Section 363 IPC.

The police team undertook multiple measures, including distributing pamphlets across all police stations, bus stands, railway stations, and neighboring districts. They also visited child care homes, examined CCTV footage, and collected information from local residents to trace the boy.

These persistent efforts bore fruit on October 13, 2025, when the Phase-1 Police team located the boy safely at a DMRC Ashram in Delhi. The boy explained that, due to his visual impairment, he had lost his way home and was unknowingly admitted to the DMRC Ashram by an unknown person.

The boy’s family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the police team for their dedication and efforts in bringing their child back safely.
