Outcry for water in Gurugram: Authority will not help, will have to make arrangements yourself

Gurugram: The next 36 hours are going to be very difficult for the residents of Gurugram. The water supply will be stopped by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority from 10 am on August 5 and this supply will be resumed after 10 pm on August 6, after which people will be able to get water.

NRV valve will be installed in the pipeline

Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority officials says, “the authority has to install an NRV valve on the water pipeline at Bakhtawar Chowk. Along with this, repair work is to be done at the Chandu Budheda plant. Due to this, the drinking water system of Gurugram will remain stalled, which will affect about 15 lakh people.”

The system will be disrupted in these areas

People will be affected by the drinking water supply in Dayanand Colony, Laxman Vihar, New Colony Boosting Station, Chhoti Mata Boosting Station, Sector- 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 33, 34, 37C, 37D, 81 to 115 and Boosting Station, Sector 51, Sector 42 to 74 and Badshahpur area. Authority officials have appealed to the people to make arrangements for water for themselves in advance. Do not waste water during this time.
