NEW DELHI: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the application process for Class 9 and 11 admissions 2024-25 for the vacant seats today, September 19. Interested students can visit the official website at navodaya.gov.in to apply for JNV lateral entry.
The admissions will be done on the basis of the JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test.

How to apply for NVS 9th, 11th Admissions 2024?
Step 1: Go to the official website at navodaya.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link NVS Class 9 or 11 LEST registration 2023.
Step 3: Enter your details to log in and upload the required documents and make the payment of online application fees.
Step 4: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
Step 5: Take a printout of the same for future reference.
Who is eligible for JNV Class 9 admissions?
Eligibility is limited to students who reside legally in the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is situated and are currently registered in Class 8 at a government or government-recognised school in that district for the academic year 2023–2024.
Who is eligible for JNV Class 11 admissions?
To apply, students must have successfully completed their Class 10 examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education, state boards, or other recognised boards. Applicants should be at least 15 years old but no older than 17 years. The merit list for NVS Class 11 admission was formulated based on candidates’ Class 10 board exam scores and seat availability within the respective NVS.
