Noida : A two-day Ayushman campaign was conducted jointly by the Noida Village Residents Association (NoVRA) and the YSS Foundation to support senior citizens aged 70 and above across seven villages. The first day of the camp was held in Shahpur Govardhanpur on Saturday, followed by Chaprauli on Sunday.

During the drive, Ayushman health cards were issued to elderly villagers, enabling them to avail up to five lakh rupees of free annual health insurance for major and serious illnesses at empanelled hospitals. Residents from Shahpur, Rohillapur, Sultanpur, Garhi, Mangroli, Chaprauli and Jhatta participated in large numbers and got their cards made.

Speaking to the media, NoVRA President Dr Ranjan Tomar and YSS President Sachin Gupta said that the elderly attendees were overjoyed to receive their Ayushman cards. Many senior citizens shared that they had been suffering from serious ailments but were unable to seek proper treatment due to financial constraints. They thanked the organisations for bringing this government initiative to their doorstep.
Campaign to Cover 81 Villages
Dr Ranjan Tomar and Sachin Gupta also announced that the initiative, currently conducted in just seven villages, will soon be expanded to all 81 villages of the region. Among those present from NoVRA were Patron Ajit Singh Tomar Bajrangi, Pushkar Chauhan, General Secretary Puneet Rana, Rakesh Chauhan and Shripal Chauhan. From YSS, Durga Prasad Dubey, Raja, Sheela and others participated in organising the camp.
