Noida: Husband still at large, woman’s body discovered in Gautam Buddha University water tank

The Gautam Buddha University campus in Greater Noida was overrun by police on Monday after a woman’s body was found in the water tank of the staff quarters building. The early inquiry indicated that the deceased woman lived there with her mother-in-law and spouse.

The body of a lady was discovered in a Noida university’s water tank.

Authorities suspect that the woman’s husband, who is currently at large, killed his wife and fled with his mother. The deceased’s spouse worked at the JIMS Hospital in Greater Noida.

Throughout the course of the investigation, neighbors told the police that the two would frequently dispute. The two also got into a fight on Sunday night, and the police think the woman was slain in the fight. The authorities are currently looking for her mother-in-law and spouse.

Police units have been dispatched to look for the missing suspect in response to a complaint from the woman’s relatives. The officials have already taken out the woman’s body, which was discovered in the cement water tank on Monday.

Senior police officer Shivhari Meena has sent the body for autopsy, according to NDTV. “We have filed a case, and a team has been assembled to look for the fugitive accused,” he said. We’re looking into this from every perspective, and we’ll find out shortly.

In February of this year, a 20-year-old man was killed in Gautam Buddha Nagar by his friends, who then buried his body six feet below the surface. The guy was strangled to death by his four accomplices and buried in a farmland in Amroha.

Despite the man’s purported death on February 27, the accused persisted in misleading both the police and his family by texting his connections demanding payment.
