Noida: Work is going on at a fast pace to complete all the metro projects going on across the country so that people can take advantage of the metro service as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the metro project going from Noida Sector-62 also known as Noida Electronic City to Sahibabad Metro Station has also gained momentum. The DPR of this project has also been sent to the administration by GDA VC Atul Vats. Due to this, this project has gained momentum.
This Metro will be connected to Noida, lakhs of people will benefit
Work is being done at a fast pace to complete all the metro projects going on across the country so that people can take advantage of the metro service as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the metro project going from Noida Sector-62 i.e. Noida Electronic City to Sahibabad Metro Station has also gained momentum. The DPR of this project has also been sent to the administration by GDA VC Atul Vats. Due to this, this project has gained momentum.
Regarding this, GDA informed that one-third of the funds to be invested in this project will be given by the UP government. One-third of the funds will be paid by GDA. Along with this, the remaining one-third will be paid by the Housing Development Council.
UP government will give funds
It has also been informed by GDA officials that this project will cost a total of Rs 1873 crore. This decision has been made by the funding pattern of the DPR. In this fund, the central government will have to give 20 per cent and the Uttar Pradesh government will give 80 per cent. Later, out of this 80 per cent, there will be a funding pattern of different departments, which has been decided by the UP government. The total length of this project is 5.017 km. A total of 5 stations will be built under this.
5 lakh people will benefit
Ghaziabad Development Authority officials informed that in this Metro train project the Metro extension project from Noida Sector-62 to Sahibabad will directly benefit 5 lakh people. After Noida Sector 62 (Blue Line Metro) is connected from Sahibabad to Namo Bharat Station, people travelling between Delhi, Meerut, Muradnagar, Modinagar, and Noida will benefit from this. This will reduce the number of private vehicles used. Pollution will also decrease.
