Noida: Sunworld Residency Arista is located in Noida Sector-168, where people are so upset with the actions of the builder that they have appealed to the new flat buyers to think 100 times before buying a flat in this society. On July 27, 2024, flat buyers demonstrated vigorously at the gate of the society demanding basic facilities.
One society, 5 directors, still mismanagement and all resigned!
A large number of residents participated in this demonstration organized under the leadership of Sun Arista Welfare Society (SWS). It is worth noting that the project was initially launched by five directors – Dinesh Goyal, Dharamveer Singh, YK Gupta, Saurav Gupta and Sanjeev Gupta. However, now all the original directors have resigned, which remains a matter of concern for the residents.
No CC even after 12 years of project launch
The protesters allege that the builder has diverted the money given by them for flats and basic facilities to other projects. The project was launched in 2012, but long 12 years having passed, the builder has not yet taken the Completion Certificate.
Facilities are also not available: Residents
Not only this, the necessary basic amenities are also not available in the society. Residents say that they are not only facing the problem of registry, but the lack of basic amenities is also affecting their daily lives.
Allegations on the builder
Ashish Verma, SWS Secretary says, “The residents of Sunward Arista invested their life’s earnings here by getting trapped in the builder’s tempting advertisements. But everyone is upset with the negligence of the builder’s management. The main demands of the buyers include a forensic audit of the builder’s accounts and opening an escrow account between the builder and the buyers.”
Demand of residents
Mannu Pratap Singh, SWS President says, “On July 19, he met the GM Planning of Noida Authority and he has assured action against the builder. We urge the concerned authorities to intervene and ensure a fair solution. They say the escrow account will ensure that their money is invested in their facilities and the builder cannot divert it to other projects.“
