
Noida: On the occasion of World Disabled Day, the Society for Sports and Cultural Advancement organised the 12th drawing and painting competition at the Noida Stadium where more than 500 children from 50 schools participated in the competition.

The chief guest of the program was Bharatiya Janata Party’s District Chairman Manoj Gupta. He started the program by lighting the lamp.

The results were declared by famous artists Isha Mehra, Parul Tyagi and Ram Kumar Prajapati in the jury. ACP Rajneesh Verma and retired member tribunal of the commercial tax department NK Agarwal graced the program as special guest and encouraged the winning children by giving them trophies and certificates.

Among the disabled people there were world-famous Kalpana Chauhan who is Uttarakhand’s record folk singer, Vijay Kumar who is an international footballer, Abhinav Choudhry who has set a record in the sports world was honoured in the program.

In the program, the organization’s President Subhash Aggarwal, Secretary Dinesh Bhardwaj, former President Vimlesh Sharma, former Vice President Rajeshwari Tyagarajan, former Secretary Devendra Kumar, the program’s Convenor Indra Choudhary, Co-convenor Shweta Tyagi, Treasurer Narendra Kuchhal, Convener of the organization Prof. M.M. Baig, Live SSC Library Coordinator Ankita Singh and 10 young volunteers of Bhagta Bharat also fully cooperated in making the program successful.
