Noida: Chhath Puja, the great festival of faith, was celebrated for 5th year in a row by the families of Bihar and Purvanchal in the Chhath Ghat Park located in the middle of Shivalik Homes and Design Arc E Homes Society under the ageis of Bihar Purvanchal Family, Surajpur Site C Group Housing Extension 2 Greater Noida. Celebrated with great pomp and joy.
In which Chhath fasting people and their families worshipped Lord Bhaskar and Chhathi Maiya by offering Arghya to the setting sun and the rising sun.
After the conclusion of Chhath Puja, Bhandara was also arranged for the Chhath fasting people and their families. After puja and bhandara, a meeting of members of the Bihar Purvanchal family was held.
All the members unanimously decided that this Chhath Ghat Park located between Shivalik Homes and Design Arc E Homes Society should be named Chhath Ghat Park and a temple of Lord Surya should be built in this park so that Chhath Vartis can be celebrated every year.
