Noida: The RWA officials of Sector-117 gave a memorandum to RK Sharma, Senior Manager of Health Department, Rakesh Bhati and Vikas Parashar, Engineer, regarding the health-related issues of the sector.

The RWA officials discussed in detail with officials of the health department regarding shifting the proposed animal centre in Sector-117 away from the residential houses and increasing the number of sanitation workers in the sector.
Advocate Kosinder Yadav, President, RWA Sector-117, again requested the concerned officials to talk to the higher officials of the authority to shift the animal centre to another place.

‘Residents will be forced to sell their houses’
Harsh Mohan Jakhmola, Secretary, RWA 117, says, “If the proposed animal centre is not shifted from here, then all the residents of S.B Block near the animal centre will be forced to leave their homes. Residents will be forced to sell their houses and move somewhere else because due to the construction of the animal centre, it will be difficult to live here pertaining to the foul smell and noise caused by dogs barking most of the time.“

‘Sector 117 is already in many problems’
AK Pathak, Treasurer, Sector 117 says, “The sector is already facing many problems due to lack of planning department of the authority. Due to the closed project of Unitech builder adjacent to the sector, one corner of the sector has turned into a jungle, due to which there is a huge setback in security. Near our plots, there is a graveyard of the Muslim community, which creates problems.”
