Noida: School timings changed by district administration because of extreme cold waves

Noida News: Due to the cold wave, the district administration in Noida has once again changed the timing of schools. Schools from Nursery to 8th, which will open from Thursday, January 18th, will have starting time 10 am. An order in this regard has been issued by Gautam Buddha Nagar DM.

Because of the increasing cold, the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar had ordered leave for children from classes nursery to eighth in schools of all boards till January 16. In this sequence, from January 18, 2024, till the next order of DM, the timings of schools of all the boards under the Basic Education Department of Gautam Buddha Nagar have been changed. In the district, from tomorrow i.e. Thursday, children from classes nursery to 8th will have to go to school from 10 am.

There is severe cold and fog and to save them from this harsh weather, all schools from nursery to class 8th in Noida-Greater Noida will operate from 10 am Thursday, January 18 onwards till further orders. This order has been given by DM Manish Kumar Verma.

Due to dense fog and severe cold, orders to operate all recognized schools from nursery to 8th class run under the Basic Education Department in Gautam Buddha Nagar from 10 am. This order will apply to all the schools of all the boards. Till further orders of the administration, classes from nursery to 8th will operate from 10 am.

Schools will operate from 10 am

The DM’s instructions have been cited in the order issued by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar. Because of the dense fog and extreme cold, timings have been changed in all the schools of the district from class nursery to 8th. All schools affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, IB and other boards operating in the district will operate from 10 am. It has also been said in the order that this should be strictly followed.
