Greater Noida. An IGL gas pipeline burst in Sector Delta-1 on Sunday morning, causing a gas leak and sparking panic among local residents. The leak was brought under control after about two and a half hours of effort. During excavation work, a pipeline was damaged, leading to a rapid gas leak. Workers advised nearby residents to evacuate their homes and move to safe locations. When the leak could not be stopped despite significant efforts, the main supply line was shut off, bringing the situation under control.
