Noida: The Shaurya Diwas ceremony will be organized on June 30, 2024, at Noida Haat in Sector-33 on the 25th martyrdom day of Kargil’s Amar Shaheed Captain Vijayant Thapar.
Ashok Srivastava, President, of Navratna Foundation says, “Many brave sons of India were martyred in the Kargil war. Captain Vijayant Thapar’s name is prominent among these martyrs of India. Vijayant Thapar awarded the Veer Chakra, had joined the army just six months ago when the Kargil war broke out. Vijayant was the youngest soldier to sacrifice his life in this war.”
Captain Vijayant Thapar had bravery and courage in his blood
His father is Colonel VN Thapar. Vijayant was a fourth-generation army officer in his family. When the war started in Kargil, Vijayant was only 22 years old. On 28 June 1999, while fighting with Pakistani soldiers, Vijayant sacrificed himself for Mother India.
Sharadhhanjali sabha and musical tribute
From 7 pm onwards, a Shraddhanjali Sabha has been planned for the brave martyr. In this program, not only the people of Noida but also the people of NCR will pay tribute. During the program, famous artists of the music field will also pay their musical tribute.
