Noida : With thousands of devotees expected to participate, the Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority have begun special preparations for smooth and safe celebrations. Officials have identified 17 dedicated Chhath Ghats across various sectors and work circles, including popular sites in Sectors 78, 62, 137 and 110, as well as the Surajpur Wetland and Hindon River banks. Each ghat will be equipped with essential facilities like lighting, clean drinking water, toilets and security arrangements.
Temporary bamboo barricades and safety railings are being set up along the ghats to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety during the Sandhya and Usha Arghya rituals. Sanitation drives have been initiated to maintain hygiene at all water bodies.
We are ensuring all facilities are in place for devotees, including power backup, cleanliness, and proper crowd management. The aim is to make Chhath celebrations safe, devotional, and eco-friendly.
