The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department (FDA) received a complaint on Monday from a customer who claimed to have become ill after eating food from Theobroma bakery in Sector 104 and a McDonald’s restaurant in Noida Sector 18. As a result, samples were taken from both locations, according to FDA authorities.

Officials say that a customer complained about becoming ill after eating a burger and french fries from the McDonald’s restaurant in Noida Sector 18.
In response to the allegation, a team from the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FDA) in Gautam Buddh Nagar visited McDonald’s in Noida Sector 18 to gather samples right away.
“We received a complaint about McDonald’s on the internet. After eating french fries and aloo tikki, the customer became ill. We have sampled mayonnaise, cheese, and palm oil in this regard, as well as taken action,” stated Archana Dheeran, Assistant Commissioner (Food), FDA, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
In the second incidence, a woman purchased a stale cake from Theobroma bakery in Noida Sector 104 and later became ill. After receiving the complaint, a team from the FDA went out and collected samples of the cake.
“Theobroma bakery was the target of a complaint in another instance, where a customer in Noida became unwell after eating stale cake from the bakery…A portion of the pineapple cake was sampled and sent to the lab.A case will be filed if the product is found to be defective in the report, according to Dheeran.
She went on to say that the report should arrive in a month and that if samples don’t pass the report, there would be more steps taken and a complaint filed.
