Noida: After the accident in the gaming zone of Rajkot in Gujarat, all 27 gaming zones running in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district were inspected and flaws were found in five game zones. Approval for their operation was also not taken from the concerned department.
Pradeep Kumar Choubey, Chief Fire Officer says, “After the investigation, the fire department sent the report of all the five gaming zones to the District Magistrate Gautam Buddha Nagar. After the team’s report, the District Magistrate closed these gaming zones and issued a show-cause notice.“
The notice states that in such a situation, a case can be filed in the competent court. There is a provision of 6 months’ punishment or a fine of Rs 20,000. Later it can be increased by paying Rs 500 per day. Closing the gaming zone and taking legal action have also been stated as necessary in the notice. A copy of these notices issued to the gaming zones has also been sent to the police from the DM office. It states that until approval is not taken, these gaming zones should be closed and all information should be provided.
