Noida : Buying a home in Noida has become a dream for lakhs of people as the city continues to expand rapidly. The demand for residential and commercial properties is rising, pushing many buyers to invest without proper verification. Unfortunately, several fall into the trap of cheaper deals and brokers’ false promises, later facing legal and financial trouble.
To prevent such cases, the Noida Authority has issued a public advisory cautioning people against purchasing properties in specific areas.
Stay alert
The authority has warned the public against illegal constructions taking place in Salarpur, Bhangel-Begampur, and Hajipur villages. A list of 46 khasra numbers (plot numbers) has been released, clearly stating that no flats, shops, or office spaces should be bought or sold on these land parcels.
All such constructions have been declared illegal, and strict action is underway.
Demolition and sealing drives in progress
According to the notice issued by Work Circle-8:
- Several land mafia groups are constructing buildings illegally.
- Demolition (bulldozing) and sealing operations are happening from time to time.
- Anyone still purchasing such properties will be solely responsible for the consequences.
The authority emphasized that it will not be liable for any future loss faced by buyers.
Previous actions taken
These lands fall under notified zones, where construction is strictly prohibited. Despite multiple crackdowns, illegal building activities have begun again, forcing the authorities to reissue a warning.
Demolition drives will continue until unauthorized structures are removed.

To assist citizens, the Noida Authority has introduced a QR code.
By scanning it, buyers can get complete information on:
