NOIDA: According to officials, during its month-long drive against unauthorized colonists, the Noida authority has liberated at least 56,885 square meters of land.
In villages like Sadarpur, Salarpur, Sorkha Jahidabad, Mamura, Gulavali, Assadullapur, Moyiyapur, and Garhi Samastipur, the joint teams of the Noida authorities conducted the campaign.
According to the current market pricing, the land, which is spread across 12 locations across eight villages, is valued at ₹236.80 crore, they stated.

CEO of the Noida Authority Lokesh M. has ordered the land and civil departments to collaborate in order to take decisive action against those who appropriate government land, carve out unauthorized housing or commercial projects, and lure “innocent buyers” with low-cost plots.

“Our combined teams have conducted the searches and destroyed the unauthorized buildings erected inside the region we have alerted. We will keep taking action against the unauthorized constructions, the CEO declared.

The drive began on March 12 and ran through April 13. In villages like Sadarpur, Salarpur, Sorkha Jahidabad, Mamura, Gulavali, Assadullapur, Moyiyapur, and Garhi Samastipur, it was executed by the authority’s joint squads.
“The authority released land on which the land mafia was selling either residential or commercial plots without the authority’s approval. There were a total of 17 khasra numbers (land record numbers) in this regard. A Noida authority official who was not authorized to speak to the media stated that, in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Act of 1976, “no person or company can carve out plots or develop any kind of building without getting the map approved.”

The administration has given notice to the villagers’ land for a planned development in Noida in accordance with the regulations. Additionally, authorities stated that no person or business is permitted to begin construction in this designated region without first obtaining approval for the building map and permission to build the project.
It is against the law for someone to construct a project without the consent or approval of the map. The official continued, “We will continue to publish public announcements, urging the public to refrain from purchasing plots in these unlawful enterprises since the authorities will demolish them.
